Bao Bao Issey Miyake

The Japanese designer known for the origami-like sculptural complexity of his ready-to-wear launched the unique Bao Bao bags in 2000 and it has rapidly assumed cult status. The bags, composed of vinyl triangles on a mesh fabric, fold and transform into myriad shapes, reflecting light and constantly intriguing the eye like mini works of art.
