Saying hello to September means welcoming a new season, packed with luxe fashion updates, mouthwatering seasonal recipes and tempting scents in the air.

If you're already thinking about all-things autum but you can't make it down to our Meet Our Experts events in store, fear not - we’ve asked our brilliant beauty buyers to share their favourite scents for the new season, featuring the most enticingly spicy or sweet autumnal aromas...

Taking inspiration from the brand's urban New York vibe and luxury heritage, Coach Eau de Parfum is a must-have accessory for autumn. The scent, created by perfumers Anne Flipo and Juliette Karagueuzoglou, is sensual, fruity, and full of contrasts - opening with bright, sparkling raspberry, it gives way to creamy Turkish roses and finishes with a sensual suede musk base note.

If the smell isn't enough to draw you in, the soft pink glass oval bottle has a spray cap shaped like the gold turnlock clasp seen on some of Coach's most famous bags as well as the brand's distinctive hangtag.

A woody and floral fragrance, This is HER! captures pure Parisian elegance. With a floral base, Arabian jasmine and pink peppercorn add a hint of spice and brightness while chestnut cream and benzoin resin add warmth. Finally, feminine and intense sandalwood, the Zadig & Voltaire signature, makes this the confident and irresistible fragrance we need this season.

One of four new fragrances from the magnificent Tom Ford Private Blend Les Extraits Verts line, all of which feature distinctive green notes, Verts des Bois Eau de Parfum is an edgy scent made with an inventive blend of poplar bud extract and spiked ouzo - we can't help but picture perfect deep winter woods as we head into the cooler weather.

The oriental L’Envol de Cartier is the most unique scent in our edit, striking a balance between soft and intense. With a misty cloud of musk as a base, the fragrance becomes more rounded with a powerful and masculine gaiac wood with its honey notes and balmy facets - a scent for cosy evenings and weekends in the countryside.

Perfectly opulent for any luxe occasion that should come your way this autumn, this floral, feminine and romantic eau de toilette combines the likes of Italian red rose, spicy pink pepper and sweet vanilla with notes of blackcurrant and raspberry, matured by a base of patchouli and labdanum. A truly intoxicating date night pick.

The iconic Jo Malone London continuously brings us new favourites for our fragrance wardrobe, and Basil & Neroli is no exception. Flirty and floral neroli combines with delicious basil and base notes of white musk for a fresh, fun, playful and quintessentially British scent.

Both La Femme Prada and L'Homme Prada, the distinct female and male fragrances from the iconic fashion house, were designed to take the wearer on sensual journey. La Femme, which might be our favourite fragrance of the season, evokes dewy humidity with the frangipani flower interwoven with ylang-ylang, a spicy scent made smooth with beeswax, vanilla and tuberose. The sweet fragrance is finished with vetiver.
