Feeling frazzled after the holiday madness? January giving you the blues? If the colour connoisseurs at Pantone are to be believed, spring and summer 2016 should solve all your problems.
For the first time ever, Pantone's Color Institute have selected not one, but two shades for the company's highly anticipated Color of the Year, blending gorgeous "rose quartz" with "serenity", both of which are believed to promote mindfulness and reduce stress.
According to Leatrice Eiseman, executive director of the Pantone Color Institute: "Rose Quartz and Serenity demonstrate an inherent balance between a warmer embracing rose tone and the cooler tranquil blue, reflecting connection and wellness as well as a soothing sense of order and peace."
