Sisley's Scientific Director Reveals the Secrets to Anti-Ageing

Seventeen years ago, 2,000 women signed up to the wait-list of Sisley's iconic Sisleÿa Global Anti-Age cream, which claimed to revolutionise the anti-ageing skincare market. This month, with over ten years of research behind them, Sisley are relaunching the original, bigger and better than before with an impressive fifty active ingredients. We spoke with Sisley’s Scientific Director José Ginestar to get the low-down on the new and improved formula, his must-try products from the collection and how Sisley stay ahead of the skincare game. ###### Tell us about the new Sisleÿa L’Intégral Anti-Âge launch. We have spent over a decade researching and understanding what we call the third dimension of ageing: epigenetic ageing. The latest in scientific research, this study of ageing argues that behavioural factors such as sun overexposure, pollution, smoking, lifestyle stresses and an unhealthy diet have a direct impact on our skin. The new Sisleÿa L’Intégral formula not only takes genetic and environmental influencers into account, but also these epigenetic factors that have scientifically proven to have as much, if not more, impact to the skin. ###### How much does lifestyle and what you eat affect the quality of your skin? Your lifestyle plays a huge factor in the appearance and general health of your skin. These epigenetic factors have been proven to directly attack the lifecycle of your skin cells and their ability to regenerate.
