How to make bedtime fun for the little ones

Getting the kids to bed can be, er...challenging at times.

It might be they simply cannot leave their favourite toys downstairs, need to watch teddy intently as the last scraps of strawberry jam are tumble-dried off him, or can't possibly leave the sofa until they've recited the alphabet backwards three times.

And then, once tucked up in bed, comes the hurdle of getting them to actually fall asleep.

Being the generous sort (and in honour of Sleep Awareness Week), we've had a little brainstorm of ways to make bedtime more fun for the little ones in the hope that a brand-spanking-new Roald Dahl duvet, playful submarine cushion or soothing Roberts Revival mini radio will be enough to lure them upstairs once and for all...
