Spotlight on: Hackett

Old England, rolled umbrellas and bowler hats - that was once the mark of a spiffing chap. Today men who want clothes that are stylish but won't frighten the horses turn to Hackett. For a brand that appeals to all generations, you would think it would be older than its 30-plus years. In fact, it was born from a secondhand shop at the wrong end of the King's Road in London, where Jeremy Hackett and Ashley Lloyd-Jennings, both Savile Row tailors, would regularly be found scouring the rails around Chelsea and could spot a bespoke suit at fifty paces.

City meets country is a combination that continues to endure in menswear; like its tagline, this is essential British kit. To celebrate our new extensive Hackett department in our Kingston store, we have a preview of the autumn/winter 2015 collection, 'Sheep Shape and London Fashion', as well as our pick of the spring essentials. Happy shopping chaps.

Our Fenwick Kingston store is opening a Hackett department on January 28th. Also available at Fenwick Colchester and Brent Cross.
