Alberta Ferretti’s Romantic Pony

The way to wear your pony for next season? Keep it low and loose enough to drape over both ears. “This simple look is very romantic and pure without being too theatrical or overworked,” says leading hair-stylist Guido for Redken.

Roberto Cavalli’s Textured Eye

Update a smoky eye with wet-look glitter in the corners of your eyes. “It’s all about textures and different shades. Working in layers makes all of these textures work together,” says make-up artist Petros Petrohilos for MAC.

Emilio Pucci’s Seventies Mode

Team milky skin with a soft, cinnamon cream shadow buffed right up to the socket line. “The inspiration is Sylvia Kristal in Emmanuelle and the make-up is a nod to the Seventies,” says MAC make-up artist Lisa Butler.

Blugirl’s Burgundy Pout

Red lips just got more intense. Deepen the colour with a reddish brown lip pencil underneath your colour. “There’s a Last Tango in Paris feeling to the make-up. The dark, damson feels much cooler than bright red,” says make-up artsit Val Garland for MAC.

Prada’s Adorned Up-Do

Give your up-do a ladylike twist by adding an embellished barrette, Prada-style. “It has a slightly 50s or 60s kind of feeling, which is always Prada-like, but it’s still very modern and sort of futuristic,” says Guido for Redken.

Just Cavalli’s Traveller Veil

Create an air of mystery by adding a damp peek-a-boo veil to down hair. “The Just Cavalli Girl this season is a wanderlust traveller and leader. She knows no boundaries and has a fearlessly strong look,” says James Pecis for Moroccanoil.

Max Mara’s Marilyn Bob

Hide away long hair in a faux bob with Marilyn Monroe beachy texture. “It’s like she’s had her hair done and then it’s been splashed by a wave and got a little bit damp,” says hairstylist Sam McKnight.

Etro’s Bohemian Movement

Anti-spiral is key to this modern day marcel wave with a flat ‘s’ shape. “It’s very Bohemian but there’s a quirky eccentricity to it. Think Margot from The Royal Tenenbaums,” says hairstylist James Pecis.

Giorgio Armani’s Italian Glamour

Picture classic, natural makeup and push it further with lengthened brows and defined eyes. “It’s Armani’s version of the quintessential Italian beauty, bella ragazza. A beautiful girl with an apricot glow and coral lips,” says Linda Cantello, Giorgio Armani's international make-up artist.
