The Art Room The Art Room at Fenwick Canterbury invites you to a very special afternoon in the company of award winning landscape artist Lawrence Coulson.
On Saturday 13th March 12-3pm we will be showcasing a brand new stunning collection of signed limited editions & originals featuring Lawrence's landscapes and his new style of work incorporating Britain's iconic landscapes depicting the sea, woods & fields. Join us for a complimentary glass of wine, and the opportunity to talk with Lawrence & have any piece purchased on the day personalised with a message from the artist himself. Celebrate Easter Italian Style with Carluccio's With Memories of Winter fading away, Spring takes hold this Easter with a range of delightful gifts and treats. Easter is an occasion for gathering around a well-set table, and Carluccio's offers everything from traditional delights for the Easter feast, to gifts of appreciation & goodies for the all important Easter egg hunt. The centre of the range is the delicious Colomba Tradizionale (750g £13.95), a cake made with sultanas, candied orange peel and topped with icing and almonds. It is baked in a dove-shaped mould in honour of the bird that traditionally represents peace. This light, aromatic cake is also available in a smaller version, the Mini Colomba (100g £3.25), and makes a delightful dessert that is classically served in Italy during Easter and enjoyed with a glass of Moscato.
Easter would not be Easter without chocolate eggs. The Uovo mezzo e mezzo (540g £21.95) is an indulgent giant half dark and half milk handmade chocolate egg with a smaller milk chocolate egg inside- the ultimate Easter present for the chocoholics out there! The Uova Brillanti (250g £8.95) are large sugar coated dark chocolate eggs in beautiful springtime pastel colours of pinks, greens and yellows, also available in a smaller size – Ovette colorate (200g £5.95). The Ovetti di cioccolato (600g £9.95) come in an attractive jar and are perfect for Easter egg hunts.
More traditional Italian gifts include the Soft Pistachio Nougat Slice (£6.95), a pistachio, almond and hazelnut torrone; mini Torroncini (100g £6.95) which come in lovely pastel coloured tins and delicious Pasticceria Finissima (400g £9.95), a selection of all butter biscuits which are produced in a small bakery just outside Naples. For those with a sweet tooth, why not try the Pastiglie Leone (30g £1.95) - delicious traditional Italian sugar sweets in orange, lemon and a box of assorted flavours.
