How do I get to the store?

Fenwick Colchester is in the centre of Colchester in Essex, which is easily reached by car from the A12, by train and by bus.

How do I apply for a Fenwick Colchester store card?

Pick up an application form in store and bring in two forms of identification, e.g. a valid passport and a credit card. It will take approximately two weeks to process your application.

What is your returns/refunds policy?

We are happy to offer an exchange or refund on goods purchased from Fenwick Colchester, as long as the following conditions apply:

• Full price goods must be returned within 28 days of purchase, reduced goods within 8 days
• Goods must be unused and in saleable condition
• A valid receipt or proof of purchase must be provided
• All original labels must be attached and packaging returned

For hygiene reasons, we do not accept returns on cosmetics, duvets, pillows, hosiery, pierced jewellery or personal grooming products. Refunds will be made using the same method of payment as the original transactions. This does not affect your statutory rights.

How do I obtain a VAT refund?

Providing you live outside the EU and are planning to take your purchases out of the EU within three months, ask a member of staff to fill in a VAT form.

You'll need to spend a total of £50 or more to qualify for a VAT refund. The form must be completed in store not at Customs. On leaving the UK you must be prepared to show Customs your purchases. They will validate your form, your refund will be issued either in cash (up to the value of £1400) or directly onto your card or into your bank.

A fee is chargeable by the VAT refund service provider.

What is your price promise?

Our pledge is to be competitively priced so you can buy from us with confidence, whilst offering you the very best customer service. Therefore if anything on sale at Williams and Griffin is not competitive with the identical merchandise on sale locally at the time, we will be happy to match the price.

Do you offer free delivery?

There is free delivery within a 30 mile radius of the store, with a spend of £30 or more.

Can I get interest free credit?

We offer:
• up to 12 months interest free credit when you spend over £750
• up to 24 months interest free credit when you spend over £1500

Can I shop tax-free?

Fenwick Colchester offers Tax Free Shopping for customers who live outside the EU.

Simply bring your receipts, along with your passport, identity card or non-EU driving licence to a till point in-store.
The total minimum spend is £50. The goods must leave the country within three months from the end of the current month. Some departments may be excluded from this offer including the restaurant, perfume, chocolates which have been used or partly used in the UK.

A Global Refund Form must be completed by the customer and the store, and a copy is kept by the store and by you to show a UK Customs officer.

What facilities do you have for the disabled?

Wheelchair access is available through all entrances, with lift access to most floors. Our disabled toilet is on the second floor and we also offer disabled fitting rooms; please ask for their locations.

Do you have baby changing facilities?

Yes, on the top floor. We pride ourselves on our award winning facilities for babies and children. We support breastfeeding mums, warm baby food when any hot meal is purchased, as well as bottle warming facilities and use of bibs, wipes and bowls.

Do you offer free delivery?

We will deliver free of charge on orders £30 and over, within a radius of 30 miles of the store.

Yes, for any fashion items purchased within the store. Please ask a member of staff for details.

Do you offer a student discount?

Students will receive 10% off Fenwick Colchester Womenswear and Menswear departments on production of a valid Essex County Council 'Bite Card' or NUS (National Union of Students) card. Discount will be applied to full price items only and cannot be used in conjuntion with any other offer. Excludes concessions.

Do you offer a military discount?

Military Personnel will receive 10% off at Fenwick Colchester on production of a valid Military ID card. 10% off full price products only and not in conjunction with any other offer. Excluding stamps, gift cards, concessions, Carluccios & Caffé Nero.
