Behind the scenes with Rachel Trevor-Morgan.
Renowned for her beautiful handwork, Rachel Trevor-Morgan presents glamour and feminine elegance in her designs.
Her success arises from a passion for craft, and an understanding of the balance required for a hat to flatter and finish an outfit.
We visited Rachel Trevor-Morgan’s studio to discover the creative process behind the art of millinery, from concept to execution. Take a peek behind the scenes and explore the exquisite designs from the granted Royal Milliner.
Known for her soft, feminine signature feathers and flowers, Rachel draws particular inspiration from an era when millinery was de rigueur, storytelling couture in her craftsmanship process.
Each hat is blocked and stitched by hand, while every flower is hand dyed to match with the dress, then carefully rolled. The sinamay is cut into small pieces then pressed with an iron wand to shape as a petal.
Her couture millinery is a tale of ageless elegance and can be found in the Occasion Hats department at Fenwick of Bond Street.
