The Charrington family have been growing apples on their award-winning farm, Old Cryals in Kent, for over 50 years. Following the highest sustainable farming practices, they are Red Tractor and LEAF (Linking Environment and Farming) accredited. They lovingly nurture their apples every step of the way so they know the exact moment when they’re at their very best. 2016 09 22 Teapigs mao feng green tea 1024x1024

At TEAPIGS they believe in something pure and simple… no airs. no graces. Just fine tea. They will only ever sell teas of the highest quality and never compromise on quality. It also means they sell only whole leaf tea from selected estates, supplied as either loose leaf or in tea temples.

The Temple

Teas worthy of worship deserve their own temple. Teapig teas come in their special tea “temple” – a biodegradable mesh bag that gives the whole leaves lots of room to infuse. Looks pretty too. Loose tea without the fuss. They think the teabag was an inspired idea – one of the greatest inventions before, and since, sliced bread. But whole leaf tea just doesn't work in regular paper teabags. And not everyone has the time to make loose tea the ‘proper' way, what with all that pot warming, deciding who will be mother, etc. And so the tea temple was born – a roomy, biodegradable mesh bag, which offers all the space whole leaves need to infuse properly. Whole leaf tea, without the fuss. Yippeee!

Sampling in store:  a variety of flavoured Teas.
