Poirier d'Un Soir is inspired by a Pear Orchard at night. The memorable scent of a couple meeting at dusk beneath a pear tree. A juicy pear sits at the front of the composition, with hints of dark rum and caramelised sugar effect. Italian bergamot and tangy blackcurrant introduce the warmth of dusky skies with hay-like tagetes. Blooms of peony and Turkish rose grow nearby underscored with musky ambrette seed, whilst the gentle woodiness of the pear tree is created with birch tar, cedar and cashmere wood. Star Ingredient: Pear is recreated through the magic of perfumery, an illusion to be created by a skilled craftsman and alchemist through nature and science.
