Bao Bao Issey Miyake

Japanese designer Issey Miyake, known for the origami-like sculptural complexity of his ready-to-wear collections, launched the unique Bao Bao bag in 2000 and it rapidly assumed cult status. The bags, composed of vinyl triangles on a mesh fabric, fold and transform into myriad shapes, reflecting light and constantly intriguing the eye like mini works of art.
