Dan Black and Martin Blum founded black+blum in 1998 after they met while studying industrial design at Northumbria University. After launching their first line of lighting in 2000, the brand officially entered the homeware market in 2002 and become renowned for favourites like the iconic James the doorman, propello fan, loop candelabra and box appetit lunch box. The kitchen and homeware brand aims to inject a little bit of fun into functionality.
