How to Choose the Perfect Swimwear for Your Shape
26th June 2018
From control swimsuits and bikinis with added support to one-pieces in eye-catching prints, make a splash in our favourite summer swimwear designed to make you feel great in the sun.
### High-Waisted Styles If you want to wear a bikini without baring all, opt for high-waisted bikini bottoms. This vintage-inspired shape provides a bit more coverage and draws attention to the smallest part of your waistline. Angela says, _"If you require more support, try brands such as Masion Lejaby, Chantelle and Panache"_ who have a number of style solutions, designed to make you feel comfortable and confident.
### Playful Prints Eye-catching prints and luxurious fabrics, like Seafolly's dreamy Velvet number, are a great way to add some character to the universally flattering one-piece style. Angela says, "_One-piece swimsuits are everywhere this summer_" and the best way to be bold is with prints. Jo says "_blue-toned prints are very and flattering but bright shades work well for when you've got a bit of a tan_."
### Fun Frills Frills and ruffles are one of the biggest swimwear trends this summer; whether they're used decoratively on straps and shoulder lines, or cascading around the neckline to enhance your natural shape. As well as adding a fun stylish detail, they provide extra coverage around the shoulders and arms. Angela says, _"Luxury is the theme this season... many designers have used embellishment or trims"_ which are a great way to elevate classic styles.
### Supportive Shapes Bikinis with extra padding or underwire will give you the confidence and support you need for staying in your swimwear all day. Jo says, _"brands such as Fantasie and Freya that offer specific cup sizes are really useful if you're not the same size bikini top and bottom. Their underwired collections and cupped sizes give you the support, comfort and fit you need."_ Angela says, _"most collections come with matching kaftans and accessories so you will be ready for both beach and bar."_
