Beatrix Potter, one of Britain's best-loved children's authors, turns 150 on July 28th. Naturally, country-wide events and celebratory merchandise are popping up all over the place in her honour. From the ten new character stamps being issued by The Royal Mail to The World of Beatrix Potter Attraction, it couldn't be easier to re-imagine the stories you fell in love with as a child.
Perhaps the most exciting news, though, is the release of a rediscovered, never-published Beatrix Potter manuscript: The Tale of Kitty in Boots. The eagerly-anticipated story - illustrated by none other than Quentin Blake - is due for release at the beginning of September.
