We asked three beauty buyers across the Fenwick group to share their best ‘shelfie’ snaps so we could take a peek at the products that have made it into their private stash.
With our autumn Beauty Week now in full-swing, we take a moment to celebrate our fabulously famed beauty halls - in particular, the brilliant beauty buyers that stock them. As you can imagine, our buyers get to see (and try!) a whole range of products, from iconic classics to the latest launches in deciding what's going to make the cut.
Scroll through to find out which make-up, skincare and fragrance products they’re currently obsessed with, and why…
Beauty Buyer at Fenwick of Bond Street
OUAI Rose Hair & Body Oil, £25
I love this multi-tasking product which not only smooths my hair but works as an excellent super hydrating body moisturiser - and the smell is to die for!
NARS Powermatte Lip Pigment, £23
Matte lips continue to be such a key trend and the precision and pigmentation of this ink-matte formula is amazing. They provide bold colour with long-lasting staying power that doesn't feel dry and uncomfortable on my lips. I adore the blue-toned red shade Starwoman, but there really is a shade for everyone.
NARS Precision Lip Liner, £18
I pair the NARS Lip Pigments with their brilliant new lip pencils to outline my lips for a defined, fuller shape. The highly-pigmented formula glides on smoothly making application super easy.
Immunocolgie Oxygen Treatment Crème, £160
I use this treatment Crème when my skin is in need of an overnight detox. Its hero ingredient, Oxygen, repairs and renews the skin alongside ingredients such as lactic and glycolic acid that not only dissolve dead skin cells, but protect my skin from free radicals. I slather this over my skin at night and wake up with a brighter, plump complexion come the morning.
Comfort Zone Tranquility Blend, £48
When life gets a little hectic, a few drops of this heavenly oil in the palm of my hand rebalances stress levels and helps with overall well-being. A blend of aromatic natural oils such as Cedarwood, Rose and Sweet Orange pass through the olfactory system creating a particularly pleasant calming effect on the mind and body.
Skin Design London C Antioxidant Glow Serum, £105
This serum contains an impressive 30% Vitamin C in a seven nutrient-rich formula that's a superstar in a jar! The power serum fights environmental damage, controls hyperpigmentation and gives a lovely healthy glow to my skin. Plus, it's also paraben free!
Estée Lauder Pure Colour Envy Metallic Matte, £26
A variation on the matte trend, this brushed metal-effect lipstick is creamy (not gritty) and moisturising while still creating a high-impact look on the lips. My personal favourite shade is Smash Up, a rich plum.
Jeroboam Eau De Parfum Oriento, £90
I love this bold French perfumery, who's name is playfully tongue in cheek - Jeroboam refers to a wine bottle that is four times the size of a normal bottle, yet this humble 30ml EDP packs a real punch. It's a warm and spicy scent with a hint of Rose, Patchouli, Lemon and Ylang-Ylang for a luxurious blend that's perfect for Autumn.
Beauty Buyer at Fenwick Newcastle
Dermalogica Precleanse Balm, £44
I was always a fan of the original Precleanse Oil so was thrilled when their balm version hit shelves last month. This balm-to-oil formula melts away impurities and make-up for a thorough clean that leaves skin feeling, and looking, super healthy.
OUAI Memory mist, £25
Memory Mist, from hair guru Jen Atkin's incredibly cool line OUAI, is my latest hair obsession. The mist is to be sprayed into damp or dry hair before styling, which not only protects strands from heat styling, it locks in your desired style until your next shampoo thanks to memory polymer technology.
Victoria Beckham Estée Lauder Matte Lipstick in Black Cassis , £38
This sumptuous matte lipstick in chic Parisian bordeaux is my go-to shade for autumn. The highly pigmented lipstick offers full coverage colour without stripping my lips - and just look at that packaging! Simply glorious.
Diptyque Vanille Scented Candle, £45
As the colder weather creeps in, I love to cosy up with a candle. The Diptyque Vanille candle is my latest favourite - it's an elegant sweet, smoky fragrance that's made with pure essential oils of Vanilla, Sandalwood and Elemi for a creamy, woody scent that envelopes the room.
Charlotte Tilbury Filmstar Bronze & Glow, £49
The Filmstar Bronze & Glow contour palette is a cult classic, and I personally reach for it most days. It's designed to add light and shade to your face - whether you want to sculpt your natural contours, or simply add a sun-kissed glow to your complexion. I love that the finely-milled highlighter offers a subtle, yet buildable colour so you're not left looking like a disco ball.
Beauty Buyer at Fenwick Brent Cross, Canterbury & Tunbridge Wells
StarSkin Red Carpet Ready Hydrating Bio-Cellulose Second Skin Face Mask, £8.50
This face mask is brilliant for days I need to immediately hydrate and plump tired skin. If I have a special event, or important meeting that day, I take 10 minutes to simply do nothing and let the juicy formula work its magic.
OUAI Hair Oil, £24 and Clean Conditioner, £20
This heavenly scented hair oil smoothes frizz and nourishes the ends of my colour-treated hair without weighing it down. It’s also great on cuticles and any other areas that require some TLC. I’m also a fan of the Clean Conditioner, which effectively clarifies the hair and doesn’t interfere with my colour.
Skin Laundry Skin Purifying Cream Cleanser, £20
I was thrilled to launch this cult skincare brand at Tunbridge Wells last month - it’s going down a storm with my customers, and I can see why! This soap and sulfate-free cleanser enriched with soothing aloe vera gently melts away make-up and impurities leaving my skin feeling super clean, fresh and comfortable.
Pixi Flawless Beauty Primer, £24
Pixi's glow-giving primer helps blur imperfections and even skin tone before I apply my foundation. Plus, the formula is packed full of good skincare ingredients, like Vitamin A and C to protect the skin from environmental damage and boost skin's natural dewy radiance.
Blood Concept Killer Vanilla Eau de Parfum, £118
My new favourite scent for autumn, this luxurious fragrance from super cool brand, Blood Concept, blends spicy Black Pepper with rich Patchouli, woody Amber, Incense and creamy Vanilla.
Laura Mercier Translucent Setting Powder, £29
I’ve had some version of this setting powder in my make-up bag for over five years now, and I’m a proud veteran. This best-seller uses finely-milled powder to set make-up and add radiance thanks to subtle light-reflecting particles, yet still manages to look undetectable on the skin.
CHANEL Le Vernis Longwear Nail Colour in 512, £20
The Longwear Nail Colour collection from CHANEL really does last, and with its ultra-shiny lacquered finish, a few coats of this can easily be mistaken for a professional gel manicure. I’m currently obsessed with shade 512 Mythique, which is a perfectly autumnal rich red wine.
