From cooking up a spooktacular dessert to getting makeup done ahead of trick or treating, there's Halloween fun for for all ages at Fenwick this week...

Fenwick Kingston

Roald Dahl story time

On Thursday 29 October at 1pm, 2pm and 3pm, the store will be hosting a Roald Dahl Story Time in the bed linens department where your little one can read along to The Witches and James and the Giant Peach in honour of the great author’s birthday and the launch of Fenwick Kingston’s new Roald Dahl kids bed linen line. What’s more, there will be a Kid’s Trail and a Design a Dream Bedroom competition, where your child has the chance to win tickets to the Roald Dahl Museum.

Horror Halloween Makeup

Trick or treating is the main event on your child’s social calendar so make sure they look the part by taking a quick trip to Fenwick Kingston’s Horror Halloween Face Painting. Here, they can pick from a wide selection of options to make sure their costume is spooktacularly ready. Not only will you be making your child happy, but you can also bring a smile to little one elsewhere - the store will be taking donations (suggested donation of £1) for Momentum, a charity that helps children with cancer or other terminal illnesses.

Fenwick Brent Cross

Costume prep

Get your child in the Halloween spirit and take them to Fenwick Brent Cross for a spot of face painting on 30 October from 12pm-4pm. Here, they’ll get their faces made up to match their costumes. If that’s not enough, the store will also be offering Halloween Henna tattoos on 31 October, 12pm-4pm, so their costume can last that little bit longer.

Over the week, Fenwick Brent Cross will be hosting some scarily good competitions that are bound to get your child excited. Take them to the Billieblush dress up section on 29 October where they’ll have the chance to take a spooky Halloween photo between 11am-3pm, with the winner to receive a £50 voucher to spend on Billieblush. On 31 October head to the store to have your child complete a Halloween word search - not only will it get their creative juices flowing, but one completed wordsearch will be picked at random for the child to win a Monsters high doll. We also recommend heading to Three Restaurant & Bar for a delicious pumpkin spice latte while you wait…

Fenwick Colchester

Spooky Halloween Trail

This week Fenwick Colchester’s Toy Department is inviting children to get their hands on a trail card every day until Saturday 31 October - follow the card's trail and use clues to find letters which make up the spooky word. Once they’ve got the answer, they’ll be given a certificate and entered into a prize draw to win a Lego set.
