Rich mix: See L.K.Bennett's opulent AW16 collection

L.K.Bennett has always been a Fenwick favourite when it comes to modern, sophisticated British style, but the Autumn/Winter 2016 Collection may just be our most coveted yet.

Focused on the vibrant femininity that's at the heart of the brand, the new campaign (shot at the Royal College of Physicians in Regents Park by Max Farago and styled by Caroline Issa) hints of pieces steeped in British luxury, mixing the modern with the classic.

With sleek silhouettes, opulent fabrics and detailed embroidery, the collection is gloriously rich in colour, texture and print.

The '70s trend is here to stay with gorgeous Persian blue suede trench coats, bohemian midi dresses and the block heeled, floral print velvet boots that we fell in love with on AW16 Fashion Week runways. Delightfully embroidered over the knee boots, embellished cross body bags and metallic footwear are also on our must buy list.

For something more sleek and sophisticated, contemporary workwear comes in the form of wide leg herringbone trousers, soft knitted dresses and the perfect navy long winter coat.

As much as we're loving the current heat wave, with next season looking this good, we can't wait for the chill to set in...
