Unveiling the new Colchester Wine Room

Over 200 wines, 80 plus types of gins, and more than 50 beers. It’s easy to quantify the enormity of the new Fenwick Colchester Wine Room, with the in-store expansion a truly special place to experience. With [wine and spirit](https://www.fenwick.co.uk/food-and-drink/all-wines-and-spirits) tastings, hand-painted window displays by Flora Roberts and an Enomatic Wine Dispenser (read below), there is a host of gastronomic delights to be revealed. The way in which the department is ranged makes the experience very intuitive, with [gins](https://www.fenwick.co.uk/food-and-drink/all-wines-and-spirits/spirits/gin) ordered by British, World and Flavoured. [Wines](https://www.fenwick.co.uk/food-and-drink/all-wines-and-spirits/wine) are displayed by grape variety and [Whisky](https://www.fenwick.co.uk/food-and-drink/all-wines-and-spirits/spirits/whisky) sorted by region, it allows you to find your favourites as well as to explore new drinks. The 1,200 sq ft Wine Room in Colchester is part of our newly expanded [Food & Wine departments](https://www.fenwick.co.uk/food-and-drink/all-wines-and-spirits) across our stores, with elevated offerings in Fenwick of Bond Street, Canterbury, Kingston, Tunbridge Wells and York to complement our hero Food Hall in our Newcastle store. Expect to see stalwarts like Laurent Perrier, Bottega and Whispering Angel; and local suppliers such as Tiptree, Malden Brewery and Gifford’s Hall. One of our favourite highlights of the Wine Room? Try our Enomatic Wine Dispensers. What is it you ask? It’s a state-of-the-art system that serves wine by the glass at its optimum temperature. Simply purchase credit from one of the till points, pick up a glass, and use your card to purchase a glass of wine or a sample of 50ml. The selection of wines available in the Enomatic Wine Dispenser can be purchased by the bottle to enjoy at home.
