We reopened our doors on 15th June with such a delightful response from our wonderful customers. Many of you waited patiently – some for even a few hours – in the queue to enter our shops. We have had a tremendous response from you about your experience shopping in-store with us post-lockdown, and we couldn’t be more thrilled to announce we are opening [selected restaurants](https://www.fenwick.co.uk/services/all-stores/restaurants) across most Fenwick doors and [Regis Hair Salon](https://www.fenwick.co.uk/services/beauty/regis-hair-and-beauty/ae35d61a-4972-4cbb-853f-ce4c100451b5) in Newcastle and Canterbury from 4th July. We have worked diligently to ensure that our stores are compliant with government guidelines. The number of people in the store at any time is carefully managed and each door has been designated as either an entry or an exit, and some doors will be closed completely. We ask that you queue at the entry point and keep a distance of two metres from your fellow shoppers. Hand sanitiser will be easily accessible to all throughout the store and located upon entry and at every till point.

The wellbeing of our customers and our colleagues is of paramount importance to us. To ensure your and their saftey, we ask that customers abide by our guidelines to the best of their abilty, which is sign posted as you enter the store. Please be respectful of other people's space and considerate of other people's needs when moving about the store. Please keep a two metre distance from fellow shoppers; pay with contactless where possible; avoid groups; and use our one way system to maneuver around the store.

Follow the "Fenwick Green Road" while shopping in our stores. A one-way system for each store has been planned, which is clearly marked on the floor. Customers are able to ‘step off’ the path to browse at any time. There may be slight restrictions in some of the departments you wish to visit; in children’s and toy departments, there will not be any toys out on display to try or play with.

We have undertaken extensive cleaning before we re-opened and the store is frequently and regularly cleaned during opening hours, after closing and before re-opening again. Fitting rooms will be closed and customers wishing to try on accessories such as hats or sunglasses should speak to a sales advisor for assistance. There are also selected toilets open for use at each store.

All sales advisors will be provided with clear visors and there will be clear screens in place to protect customers and colleagues.

We do not require the use of face masks for customers within the store – it is up to you whether you would like to do so. We have a small selection of face masks and hand sanitisers to purchase online, if you wish to order these before you visit us in-store.

There are plastic partitions at till points to protect you and our colleagues. Please pay by contactless or card whenever possible; all payment pads will be requently cleaned. Emailed receipts are available with every purchase.

If you're looking to return an item you purchased with us in-store before lockdown, this is possible providing the purchase is within the revised date – we will accept items bought before lockdown from 21st February onwards for 28 days from the day of reopening. When clothing is returned, it will be steamed thoroughly and returned to the shop floor. All other items will be quarantined for 72 hours before being put out to the shop floor.
