As we enter Autumn/Winter, refresh your workwear sartorial choices with the new season in-mind. From a twist on the classic white shirt to a statement blazer for a pop of colour, explore the ways to style yourself for success.
The transition from summer to autumn can be a challenging time for the sartorial minded. As you return to work after a seemingly endless summer, it can be a daunting prospect to take your mind away from leisurely dressing and instead, opt for choices which are more formal, in-toe with the company dress code and more importantly… not reflective of your personality.
Our new campaign for [Autumn/Winter ‘The New Collections’](https://www.fenwick.co.uk/edit/the-new-collection) redefines everything you thought you knew about seasonal dressing in the workplace. Focusing on classic silhouettes and wardrobe essentials, the new collection boasts modern twists that keep the designs contemporary and reflective of your personal style.
Whether you’re looking to update your wardrobe, incorporate new trends and focal points, or are searching for inspiration; our new women’s [Autumn/Winter](https://www.fenwick.co.uk/edit/the-new-collection) curation has every dress code and profession covered.
Choosing the right ensemble changes your outlook for the day ahead. Whether you’re an entrepreneur preparing for an important meeting, or a CEO scheduling dinner with a client; your wardrobe should reflect how you move throughout the day. From creative to cooperate, Amanda Wakeley, Creative Director of [Amanda Wakeley](https://www.fenwick.co.uk/brands/amanda-wakeley/women/clothing) says, “It is incredibly important to be comfortable in what you’re wearing. At the beginning of every season, we always discuss as a team about how women today are dressing. How do our lives affect our outfit decisions? We’ve gone through the journey of power dressing to now, very serious city girls - accountants, lawyers - are dressing with more flair and confidence than they ever have for work.”
Gone are the days of monochromatic suits and pinstripe pencil skirts. Instead we find more and more successful women opting for silk-lined jackets, colourful blazers and statement accessories - a key trend in women’s fashion for AW19\. Margaret de Heinrich, Co-Founder of [Omorovicza](https://www.fenwick.co.uk/brands/omorovicza) says, “Blazers are so great to integrate into your autumn wardrobe. I love cinching a well-cut blazer with a belt – it’s quite chic.” She adds, “A trick I’ve been doing since I was really young, instead of wearing all-black, I really love pairing monochrome tones with different materials. I love a navy-blue pant with a navy-blue turtleneck. And then there’s a camel slack with a camel-coloured sweater. Or even a wonderful red skirt with _la vie en rose_ top. You can do a lot with those colours!”
Designer [Stine Goya](https://www.fenwick.co.uk/brands/stine-goya/women/clothing) believes colourful suiting is the one-piece (or two!) no woman should be without. Perfectly bridging the gap between summer colours and winter layering, she says, “Our _raison d’etre_ is colour – so it comes as no surprise that we translated our bright palette to tailored suiting. A suit feels fresh and purposeful, such a different feeling from the silhouettes we often wear during the holidays. As much as we’d all love to be on holiday forever - wearing vivid tailoring can give you the best of both worlds!”
