A seasonal showcase of Newcastle’s most exciting local makers from potters and bakers to embroiderers and card-makers, they get to display their wares at a pop-up stall in our iconic Christmas Department, and you get to discover unique and artisan gifts you won't find anywhere else. So who are this incredibly accomplished bunch? Keep reading to meet a few of our favourites, and uncover the full treasure trove of local talent on the Fenwick Newcastle Lower Ground Floor.
Low Moon Over High Town

Illustrator Ben Howard prints on heavyweight art paper and employs a fine art giclee printing process to create striking posters and graphic prints inspired by iconic Newcastle landmarks. Why not make an amusing addition to your wall with this particularly witty print?

Fire Dig Pottery

An impressively self-taught potter, Fran Davison draws from her background in microbiological research and passion for natural forms to craft beautifully intricate and imperfect slab built pots. We think they're rather beautiful, and
make brilliant gifts for the interiors-obsessed - if you can bear to part with them yourself, that is.

NE Toon Cards

Inspired by his love of the North East and pop culture, Cris Stewart is the proud owner of NEt00n Creative, an independent design, illustration and model-making company. From baubles and pins to cards and decorations, his much-loved collection celebrates the most important icons of our region - whether that's The Angel of the North or a Greggs Pasty.

KiJo Jewellery

Utilising a variety of traditional silversmith techniques and mixed metals, KiJo Jewellery is a Northumberland-based business that takes inspiration from the picturesque surroundings of the North East. Inspired by organic shapes, the collection boasts simple but versatile jewellery pieces and accessories, all of which are beautifully handcrafted.

Awesome Botanical

Launched in June this year, Awesome Botanical offer blissful bath and body products that contain anxiety-reducing properties - and who couldn't do with a little help in that department? Enhanced by aromatherapy and calm-inducing essential oils, these wellness products not only encourage sleep, but happen to smell quite splendid too.

Rhianne Sian Design

Durham-based artist and illustrator, Rhianne Siân creates a range of illustrated artwork from stationery to homeware. Rhianne digitally develops her artwork before adding layers of detail, colour and texture, all inspired by her rural surroundings at home and the charm of local architecture.
