For two nights on Friday 1st and Saturday 2nd July, 6:45pm - 10pm, [Arthur's](https://www.fenwick.co.uk/services/restaurants/arthurs-restaurant-music-club/203fb2ed-059f-4fbb-9abe-eab4f6ad6d86) will be transforming into a Cuban paradise enveloped in live music and culinary delights that evoke the nonchalant and vibrant spirit of the Caribbean. Say buenas noches to a traditional Cuban Mojito on arrival made with plenty of zesty limes and refreshing mint leaves and feel yourself sink into the atmosphere of Havana.

You might find yourself gravitating to the dancefloor faster than you anticipated as live music floods the space with the sunshine notes of Cuba. Serenading you throughout the evening, Kings of Cuba present gloriously authentic sounds of Son Montuno, Guaracha, Salsa, Bolero, Cha Cha Cha, Mambo and Afro-Cuban jazz, transporting you to the elegant plazas of Habana Vieja. ###### **Meet the band** Band leader, Flavio Correa, is a Cuban percussionist and singer based in London. He grew up in Centro Havana in a neighbourhood surrounded by musical giants like Chucho Valdes, Joseito Fernandez, composer of world-famous 'Guantanamera' and Lazaro Herrera, trumpet player with Septeto Nacional. Flavio specialises in Latin percussion and Afro-Cuban drumming, Cuban rumba and Afro-Cuban folkloric music. Bass player Elpidio Caicedo is one of the top Salsa bass players in the UK and performs with such greats as Omar Puente and Roberto Pla. Born in Buena Ventura near Cali (the Colombian capital of salsa), Elpidio is the musical director of choice for visiting Colombian stars. Timbales player, David Pattman has been working in Latin music for more than 30 years. He has also toured and recorded with many international artists such as Cubanismo, Cachaito Lopez and Omara Portuondo of the Buena Vista Social Club, Paul McCartney, Snowboy and Alex Wilson. With a wealth of experience and incomparable passion for music, Kings of Cuba will keep you dancing or at least toe-tapping throughout the night.
