French Connection has just landed in the Womenwear Department at Fenwick Bracknell.
For Autumn Winter 17, French Connection introduces a season of bold silhouettes and fearless colour. Infused with 90’s styling rooted from the brand’s hey-day, the collection redefines winter dressing with an approach that is less about wrapping up, and more about adding interest to the winter wardrobe.
French Connection are well-known for championing up and coming talent in the fashion and photography industries, having previously worked with the likes of Harley Weir and Lena C. Emery on past seasons. This ethos continues for the Autumn Winter 17 campaign, shot by Hart and Leshkina, a New York based photography duo who reign from an artistic background. Famous for their practice of marrying art and fashion, the couple lend their signature eye and dual perspective to create imagery that captures raw, almost ethereal escapism.
The collection's colour palette features copper coin, mars red, rich greens and winter blues with pops of arrow wood yellow. When it comes to Christmas, frosty pastels and petticoat tulle create unexpected playfulness. Autumn Winter 17 embraces the new with unabashed confidence, for fashion should never be dull.
