1. Wake up Slow
The sun will be rising later and later for the next few months so try to wake your sleepy self up in a peaceful manner an hour earlier than usual to give yourself time to adjust.
2. No Phone Zone
Upon waking, avoid looking at your phone. Make yourself a warm drink, such as hot water with lemon or a cup of tea and try to keep your mind soft. This holy hour before you rise is the perfect time to allow positive thought patterns to flow in.
3. Be Grateful
Before starting your day, try to visualise a few things you are grateful for. It can even be for the safe haven that is your bedroom or for the clean and soft sheets you're lying in between. I'm always grateful to wake up in a warm and cosy bed whilst the sun gently rises outside and listen to the birds in the trees.
