Unsung Beauty Heroes

Everyone knows that YSL’s Touché Éclat is an essential that no women should be without, and Lancôme’s Hypnose Mascara is one of the best out there, but what about the lesser known products? In this month’s beauty edit, we bring you the unsung heroes of the Beauty world, the not so famous items that deserve a bit more attention…

Clarins Fix-Make Up

We all know Clarins, but it’s not so well known that they do one of the best make up fixers out there. Used by most backstage makeup artists to set make up, this product truly has staying power.

Serge Lutens

Serge Lutens is a French perfumer who passionately created a designer perfume brand in 2000 after decades of experience in the world of Parisian fashion. He has achieved a line of beautifully scented fragrance, each with their own story, originality and mystery that smell nothing like their mass produced equivalents.

Mane N Tail Original Shampoo

Originally developed for horses, this Shampoo will give you strong, glossy and shiny hair that could rival any mane

Make Up Eraser

Cleanser will be a thing of the past if this cleansing cloth has its way. Simply dampen with water and apply to your face to get rid of the most stubborn make up.

Guerlain Terracotta Spray Bronzing Powder Mist

This micro fine mist gives a sun kissed look to pale winter complexions and in our opinion is just as effective as its more famous counterpart the Terracotta powder.

Pommade Divine

Pommade Divine will heal, soothe and repair dry and damaged skin. The original formula was first made by the Royal Family’s Chemist, Butler and Co in 1800. It is probably one of the oldest, and in our opinion best balms out there.

DHC Cleansing Oil

While cleansers are still going strong (see Make Up Eraser) it’s worth turning your attention to DHC’s Cleansing Oil. In fact the whole DHC range has a great product line up. We love the oil because it removes the most stubborn eye makeup. We also love their Velvet Skin Coat for a matte finish.
