Bring the magic of reading to life at Storytime with Mrs Claus at Fenwick Newcastle. Now, you can choose to enjoy just the Storytime session, or add a 1-hour Hopscotch play session on the 3rd floor to make the experience even more festive.

What to expect

• Head to the Storytime Room on the 1st floor, where Santa’s diligent helpers will welcome you and show you to your seat.
• Get ready to be transported into the pages of a favourite festive story.
  
• Enjoy festive milk and cookies for your little one to sip and nibble on.
  
• Wrap up the session with a special photo moment with Mrs Claus.
  
• If you’ve chosen the Hopscotch add-on, your elves will guide you to the play area to continue the fun.

Choose your experience: Storytime only, or Storytime and Hopscotch—perfect for a festive family treat.

 

Dates & Times

Sessions are approximately 2 hours long and run on Saturdays and Sundays, from 15 November - 21 December, then additionally on 23 and 24 December.

Time slots:

11:30am - 12:30pm, 2:00pm - 3:00pm

Note there are no 2:30 and 3:30 sessions on Christmas Eve.

 

Tickets

Tickets are £12.50 per adult and £12.50 (Storytime only) or £20 per child (Storytime and Hopscotch) and include mulled wine or spiced apple juice and mince pie for adults and juice or milk and cookies for children (alternatives available on request). Including a 1-hour entry for play in hopscotch. Ticket sale opens on 25th September.

The hopscotch play area is designed for children 0-5 years only, with adult supervision required at all times. Older siblings/friends are welcome to use our reading den, table games and retro arcade.
