Since 1918, Château Mayne-Vieil has belonged to the Seze family who rebuilt the vineyard after the Great War and focused on the production of high-quality red wines. Exceptional vineyard in one piece of 47 hectares, 32 of which are in the AOC Fronsac area, on a slope of clayey silt with a moderate slope and 15 hectares in the Aoc Bordeaux area. The grassed vineyard is stripped on one side to allow optimal maturity of the grapes. The vineyard is planted with 70% red Merlot and 30% Cabernet Franc grafted on low vigor rootstock which is essential for the production of great wines.
