For over four decades, the Great North Run has celebrated the extraordinary spirit of ordinary people. Each year, 60,000 runners chart the iconic 13.1-mile journey from city to sea, cheered on by over 200,000 supporters lining the streets — a true festival of endurance, community, and pride.
At Fenwick, we’re delighted to partner once again with The Great Run Company, bringing a series of meaningful moments to life in celebration of the 2025 AJ Bell Great North Run.
A Window into the Run

In partnership with The Great Run Company, we’re unveiling this year’s official AJ Bell Great North Run finisher t-shirt and medal — revealed for the very first time in our Northumberland Street windows.
This year’s design features words from “We Are the Great North Run”, a poem by George Caulkin, interwoven with iconic moments from the world’s greatest half marathon — a tribute to every stride, every cheer, and every story.
Thousands of runners are expected to visit for an early glimpse at the keepsakes that will come to define their 2025 finish line moment.

Changing Lives: Our Charity Partner
Once again this year, a dedicated team of ten Fenwick colleagues will take to the start line to raise vital funds for Changing Lives — a charity supporting people experiencing homelessness and other challenges for over 50 years.
Rooted in the North East and now working nationally, Changing Lives supports more than 14,000 people each year.
