Domaine Chante Cigale
Wines & Spirits
The story of Domaine Chante Cigale begins in 1874 when Hyppolite Jourdan renames the family property of 28 hectares “Clos Chante Cigale”. In 1936, the Châteauneuf du Pape appellation was declared the first AOC in France and the producers of the appellation structured themselves accordingly. Paul Jourdan was at that time at the head of the family property and decided to name it “Domaine Chante Cigale”. The vineyard extends over 40 hectares in the Châteauneuf du Pape. The diversity of soils and grape varieties make it possible to develop unique wines.
