Wearing more than one perfume at a time may seem like a peculiar concept, but the art of scent styling is a craft worth mastering. Perfume is the invisible accessory to any expertly constructed outfit; a way of invoking a reaction in those around us and stimulating sentimental nostalgia. Layering multiple fragrances composes a bespoke scent, capturing a unique _eau de parfum_ without investing in an expert to create. You can combine scents to suit your mood, style or season. Or maybe, you have a special occasion such as your wedding day - how delightful to have a unique combination to remind you of your special day. We spoke to Annie Alburey, our [Tom Ford]( expert at [Fenwick of Bond Street](, to unlock the art of scent styling, and how to create one-of-a-kind fragrances with a brand that we feel is synonymous with luxury and the ornate. For us, there was no better place to start than with [Tom Ford]( ## The Flowers and the Trees It seems only natural to blend two botanical flavours, floral and wood. Sometimes women shy away from woody fragrances as they can seem quite masculine, but the floral notes lighten the woody top notes within this combination. To create this fragrance, Annie recommends **Jasmine Rouge** and **Santal Blush**. This combination plays on the voluptuousness of [Jasmine Rouge]( and the exotic, and mysterious, notes of [Santal Blush]( for a truly irresistible scent. We recommend spritzing the fragrances on a scent tester before putting it on your skin to examine how the notes blend.

## Passionate and Primal This combination is one of decadence and luxury. Oriental and leather tones provide a deep aromatic scent that can easily take you from day to night. Annie suggests mixing [Tom Ford](’s love for fine leather and his passion for rare and expensive blooms with **Tuscan Leather** and **Champaca Absolute**. The modern classic [Tuscan Leather]( uses night blooming jasmine to give it a distinctive and refined flavour. So, by adding the intricate [Champaca Absolute](, you bring out the floral composition with an oriental twist.

## One for All and All for One Annie suggests combining two known and loved [Tom Ford]( unisex fragrances to create a scent for everyone. One of Ford's bestselling fragrances is **Soleil Blanc**, with its recognisable sultry and addictive scent, it has spicy yet floral notes of ylang ylang, Egyptian jasmine and Tuberose in the heart of the fragrance. Mixing this with the uplifting citrus aromatic scent of the equally iconic **Neroli Portofino**, it gives a creative twist on a classic. [Neroli Portofino]( draws its inspiration from the Italian Riviera town, with notes of citrus, Tunisian Neroli and Italian Bergamot to the mix.
