Whether the Easter egg hunt is indoors, in the garden or both, place participates in teams to double the fun. For children, this will be a great way for them to understand the importance of teamwork, problem solving and communication.
Create clever clues that can be scattered around the house, making the hunt a little less frenzied. Try writing little rhymes that, when decoded, will lead the Easter egg hunters onto the next. A little tip from us, don’t forget to provide a little sustenance along the way- perhaps a few small mini eggs stashed with each clue will do the trick!
Select the most special of chocolate Easter eggs to be the prize. Once the teams have made their way through the series of riddles and rhymes created, whoever finds the egg is the winner! Though sharing it is, of course, the most gracious thing to do…
The game has been won and now is the time to enjoy those tasty treats! Devour them together for breakfast with a plate of buttered hot cross buns to complete the Easter magic.
