###### **Fenwick Newcastle Christmas Window Reveal Covid-19 FAQ’s** **When is the Christmas window reveal?** The Fenwick Newcastle window reveal will take place on Sunday, 8th November 2020 at 7pm. **Can I attend the window reveal?** Not this year in accordance with Covid-19 government guidelines and local restrictions. The safety of our customer and colleagues is our top priority, so we kindly ask you not to travel to Northumberland Street to watch the reveal in person. In line with restrictions from Newcastle Council, a section of Northumberland Street will be closed to the public, so the window and surrounding area will not be viewable. **How can I view the window reveal if I cannot attend?** This year Fenwick Newcastle invites everyone to celebrate the magic of the Fenwick Christmas window reveal from the comfort of their own homes by tuning into a very special Facebook Live, our first ever virtual unveiling. Watch Fenwick Christmas 2020 window reveal moment on Sunday 8th November at 7pm via [www.Facebook.com/fenwicknewcastle](http://www.Facebook.com/fenwicknewcastle) **When can I see the windows in person?** The windows will be open until 8pm every day, from Monday 9th November. **What changes have been made to viewing the window?** Between the hours of 9am and 8pm from Monday 9th November, a managed queuing system will be in operation that strictly follows government guidelines. We will monitor the queue to ensure that everyone enjoys the window display in a safe, orderly and socially distanced way and customers will be reminded that it is vital they play their part. **What other measures will be in place to keep customers safe?** In line with current government guidance, social distancing and cleaning measures have been introduced to ensure the safety and wellbeing of our customers to enjoy the much-loved Christmas tradition safely. Directional signage and a one-way system will be in operation to manage customer flow. There will be a list of ‘Elf and Safety’ to advise our customers of the do’s and don’ts. A Fenwick Host will greet customers at the start of the window display where we will be asking customers to use hand sanitiser, which we will provide. **How will you ensure the Christmas window displays are cleaned?** The display windows will be cleaned and sanitised each morning. **Can I touch the window?** We will be asking customers not to touch the window. **Will you ask customers to wear a face covering?** Where possible we request that customers wear a face covering when queuing to view the window.
